It's A Boy!!!!!!!

The ives children are besides themselves with joy! Jacob is so excited to show him how to be a real man, and pass on all of his "skills."

As soon as i finished my post yesterday about craving Pho, i called dave, my partner in crime. He agreed willingly to accompany me on my search for Pho. It was a successful mission, and I left the "43rd express" with a very happy tummy. And a very happy tummy doesn't happen very often. It was a happy moment in time.

When I dropped him back off at the the base, i said, "let's go see if we can tell if it's a boy or girl!" He dragged his feet, but I made him. Within five minutes we knew. It is definitely a boy! Very exciting. We thought it would never happen. Now what to name him. The dilemma begins.

I am sad not to have a girl to name truly. But i think just plain "true" for a boy is cute. It is my favorite so far. When i picture him that seems the only name that fits so far. I would love to hear your suggestions. PLEASE!!

Heather that is awesome! This was kind of a shocker, I didn't think you'd hear for another couple weeks. But I guess that is a perk of having a radiologist husband! =)

I am so happy to hear it's a boy! Do you even know how to "do" boys after all those girls? So fun!

Yipee - I knew it. We are very partial to Edward (yes it was a favorite long before Twilight) but will never use it cause Eddie rhymes with our last name. I also love the names Preston & Brandon.

Congratulations!!! How wonderful!! I'm so excited for you!! :) I think you should stick with the Biblical theme you've got going on... James, Samuel ;), Joshua, John, Matthew, Noah, etc. :D

TANTI AUGURI for having a boy!!!! that is great news!!! i've learned to never ask others what they think of a name. if you and dave like it---that's all that matters!!! if you like it; then i like it!!!!!
ciao ciao!!!!

Congrats!!!! I think the name True is fantastic! Why not, it is your child and if you and Dave love the name then nothing else matters! I looked up the meaning on a baby site as I am partial to the meaning of names: The meaning of the name True is Real, Genuine. The origin of the name True is English.

I think that is perfect for your family! :) Congrats again!!!!!!

YAY!! I think your "you should have a boy" advice to me on Sunday must have come from all the testosterone you now have pumping through your adorably pregnant body. :) I'm overjoyed for you!!

I love the name True. Thinking of it reminds me of our little neighbor boy named Crue. That one is cute too. I haven't heard any boy names that reach out and grab me lately.

I'm glad you got your Pho. I need to try it sometime. I've heard it is so good.

Congrats to the Ives family! Bookends...how very lovely! A boy at the front and one at the back to surround/protect all of those precious and sweet sisters. What happy news. By the way, True is a great name for so many reasons! Feel well!
