trying to be "hip"

I love a challenge. Trying to take a not so ideal situation and make it look artistic and cool. The bride was changing in the bathroom at the temple visitor center but wanted a picture of her dress. Seriously the room was 6x8 feet definitely not elegant. For heaven sakes there was a diaper pail in the corner. Well, I moved a chair and hung it on the ceiling as you can see right by the door to get in the bathroom. My hope being that I could do something with it in photoshop. Here is what I came up with. What do you think?

How do you make the visitor center look "hip"? I thought it would be fun to put her shoes by a Russian book of mormon which is where her fiance served his mission. I did some cross processing on it to give it a unique look.

I saw that red velvet cake at Costco too! I just couldn't bring myself to spend the 17 buckaroos. I guess I'll just have to give it up.

I love the picture of the dress. You never would know what the background really looked like. Can you come to Michigan and take pictures of my family?

Is it okay for a guy to post a comment? FWIW Tif and I thought the revised photo of the dress was very cool.
