Fabulous!!!

I finally got someone to get their pictures up on the wall!! Don't they look great?! They are 12x18's on a 3/4 inch mount. You don't need to frame them and they are really light weight. YOu just put in a little nail, and there is a built in place on the back of the picture to hang them. So easy. I still want them a little higher natalie, and maybe even spread out just a touch more. smile.
Sorry there isn't a picture of it straight on. The glare from the opposite window was too harsh.

The pictures match her colorful decor perfectly. Don't you just love the brick work in her house. So fun! And the green!!!! love love. Had to show you.

and of course, i have to show you my little boyfriend. I love how he yells my name whenever i walk in the door.

my portrait?

I spent all day yesterday just standing in the pool. I mean that literally. I got in at 9:30a.m. and got out at about 4:30p.m. It is the only place where I can find relief for my back and sore joints.

Lizzie drew this picture of a pregnant mermaid for me. I am wondering if there is any correlation.

sneak peek!

3-D picture of sweet baby boy yesterday morning. He doubled in weight this past month and is almost 5 lbs. Look at those chubba cheeks. It is starting to feel real, and I am so excited to see him! I can smell his yumminess already. (I think he looks like Rebecca here. who knows.)
The quilt Kelly made this summer. It has really cute vintage looking fabrics. I wanted brown, red, and blue accents to his all white room.

Look at this accent pillow. It is a piece of an old quilt that kelly found at the thrift store. A blonde blue eyed fiddler, how perfect.

Isn't this monkey to die for? Wait until you see the other vintage finds I have for the room. oooohh the suspense of it all.

These are only a few of the gorgeous burp rags that kelly whipped up. i love them.

A favorite outfit from Nartjie. A splurge. I have bags and bags of thrifted and garage sale finds of the cutest clothes from when I was in Utah. I seriously need nothing.

So there is a little sneak peek. Hope you enjoyed it. Thank you kelly for being my sewing slave. You are kinda a rebellious slave though. You hate any instruction. ha ha.

a few things that made my heart happy yesterday.

watching this growing young man of mine walking on to the golf course when i dropped him off for practice. I think he looks so cute, and i am so proud of him. Only 8 boys out of the whole school of 3500 made the golf team. way to go jake!
i was so enamored yesterday of this loose curl of hair. i had to take a moment and photograph it before we left for ballet class.

oh my precious lizzie.

Rachel sitting in the car waiting for me to take her to the library. She told me if she ever ditched from school, that's where she would be. yah, i'm not too worried about her.

Designing women.

Here are the Reneer women. My sisters and I, at my brother's wedding almost 3 years ago. Whenever I see this picture I always think of the show "designing women." We all are strong personalities (to say the least) with creative gifts to offer. I think we would be a great reality show. Move aside Kardashians, Tori and Dean, New Jersey housewives (all shows kelly made me watch at her house this summer). They are trashy wasteful tv (and so so good when you need a good laugh.) I am pretty sure we could beat their drama (without using foul language of course. Well, maybe Gloria and Grant would slip. ha). We would all have to live by each other of course. Kelly with her cooking, crafting, blogging etc., gloria designing homes and decorating them, me photographing, and nicole running a hair, make-up and skin (you know botox etc.) establishment. Our husbands would spice things up too. Not to mention the 12 kids between us. My brother Brett wouldn't be able to resist dropping by while we were filming to be on the show telling big stories. ha ha. Do you think KBYU would pick us up? ha.

I love my sisters. They are all so incredibly talented, smart, funny, spiritual, beautiful, and a little mentally ill (ok a lot if not taking their medication. ha ha). I wish we all did live closer to each other. The truth is, that if we did, I think there would be some table flipping eventually. ha ha.

I love you KElly, Nicole, and Gloria!!! I miss you and your vibrant personalities. Thank you for all that you do for me. We certainly aren't perfect and we love to fight it out sometimes, but Reneer's stick together. We understand our kind of crazy.

Now if only mom were alive. She would really make the show.
